Welcome to Alexis Park Elementary! We are excited to welcome your child to our school and want to get them into class and engaged in learning as quickly as possible. We’re committed to student success, leadership excellence, and community connections.
The registration period begins January 15, 2026 at 9:00 am.
Students wishing to transfer from one school in our district to another begins January 15th at 9:00 am through to February 13th at 4:00 pm.
During this time, our school will be accepting registration and transfer requests by appointment through an online form.
The link will be active from 9:00 AM on Wednesday, January 15, 2026, until 4:00 PM on Thursday, February 13, 2026.
Steps to secure a registration appointment:
Step 1 – Complete the registration/transfer appointment request form for our school:
Step 2 – Wait to be contacted by your child's catchment school. Once you have submitted the online form, your information will be sent directly to the school, date and time stamped. The school will be in touch to make an appointment for you to come in and complete the registration process in priority order.
Documents for Registering a new student:
• Child’s birth certificate
• Parent/Guardian’s proof of Status in Canada (Canadian passport, citizenship card, permanent resident card, work visa, study permit, birth certificate)
• Child’s Personal Health Number (BC Services Card)
Parent/Guardian must provide TWO pieces of proof of residency. Acceptable documents are:
• BC Government issue ID, i.e.: Driver’s licence, BCID, BC Services Card (please note that ID can only be used as one proof of residency)
• Utility bill
• Rental insurance
• Property tax notice/assessment
• Property purchase agreement
• Bank statement
• Credit card statement
• Government document (MSP bill, notice of assessment)
Transfer requests to another school in the district are prioritized by date and time of submission.
After February 13th, please contact your catchment school directly for registration or transfer appointments.
